Hi everyone, I’m planning some updates for my home in Ottawa and trying to decide whether I should replace just the windows or do the doors at the same time. The current ones are pretty old, and lately I’ve noticed cold drafts coming in around both the windows and exterior doors, especially during strong winds or colder days.
I want to make smart choices that actually improve comfort and energy efficiency, but I’m hesitating because it feels like a big project and expense. Has anyone here recently upgraded both their windows and doors in Ottawa? Did doing both together make a noticeable difference?
